I was asked to met with a staff member of the Employment Equity department to discuss a few D2L Workforce Learn issues she was experiencing when using the Intelligent Agents and Grade Book tools to track student course activity and generate grade reports. Chanin (Instructional Systems Administrator) came along with me to address any system related issues. After assessing the staff member's requirements and needs and by observing how she was using the system, I recommended that she use reporting features in the Quizzes tool to generate the kind of reports she wanted. Chanin also agreed to research a few system level customizations that might provide some added functionality as well. I volunteered to create an instructional “How-To” reference guide for the staff member to use as a job aide for the new task she had to do. After I left the meeting, I came back to the office to create the guide.
